At 4h pm yesterday afternoon, a female elderly pedestrian in her 70's was struck by a vehicle at the corner of Dundas and Sheridan in the Little Portugal area of Toronto, Canada. Paramedics and police officers rushed to the scene and treated the patient before carrying her away. An ambulance was spotted leaving the scene code 3 with lights and sirens. Westbound lanes on Dundas Street were shut to traffic and the patient remains in hospital with serious injuries.
