Bali Surf Journal - June 2019

June was an exceptionally consistent month with back to back swells the running theme. The SE trades had plenty to say, but there was still the odd morning of variable wind and a sneaky session or three on the East coast.

With the trades blowing there was a distinct focus on the Bukit, and although we didn’t always get the preferred swell direction and tide combo’s there were more than enough great sessions, with Padang Padang producing some of the best waves I’ve seen in a while.

The forecast for the first part of July doesn’t have any huge swells up it’s sleeve, but it should be mostly overhead at the exposed breaks, so things a looking pretty good for the month ahead.
