This is a pretty random video. I just needed to vid something easy and familiar, and then Skam came along and gave us .5 seconds of Evak which was apparently enough to get me inspired.

I love the quietness of this song and the underlying anxiety in the lyrics, I feel like it’s really fitting for these two. I don’t typically focus too much on sound but for this I really wanted to manipulate background noise in a way that could create contrast and emphasize certain moments.

I’ve been grinding my teeth trying to finish other projects so it was really nice to just take a break and make something I knew I would have fun with.

And, you know, there’s just such a LACK of Evak videos on my channel, so.
