The moment when you are ready for bigger waves and you go for it. You will remember that day forever. I was after a couple of months of daily surfing in Ericeira when I got to that point and it was one of my best surf experience ever. It was so intense. If you see the whole movie your will probably feel my emotions that day. Energy of waves depends not only on the power/direction of the swell or on the wind but also on the construction of the beach, its exposition to the open ocean and type of the bottom it has (sandy, rocky, deep, shallow). Searching and finding those special spots is one of the best thing in surfing life. I can already tell you something about that.
